When one door closes, another opens. In the face of the new difficulties presented by the economic downturn, how can people calmly endure hard times without so much panic?

The debt crisis first broke out in the U.S. before spreading to Europe, and eventually caused the downgrade of the U.S. credit rating in August 2011, which put the recovering world economy at risk for a double dip. Could the debt crisis possibly devastate the world economy again? Will it bring about changes in world economic patterns and divert future economic paths of mankind? How will lives of ordinary people be affected? Let’s focus on people and their lives in the era of debt crisis through the lenses of photojournalists.
