In its long and illustrious history, the World Expo has certainly proven beneficial to mankind.
It was here that many of the world’s most indispensable modern inventions were first presented:
the steam engine, electric lamps, the telephone, motion pictures, television, automobiles, aircrafts,
and spacecrafts were all exhibited at the World Expo, just to name a few.
Since April 2010, Shanghai has been satiated with the Expo aroma, and thousands of visitors
from all over the planet have gathered there to sample the latest collection of human wisdom.
China Pavilion, the “Crown of the East,” embodies the spirit and disposition of Chinese
culture. With “Chinese red” as the prevailing hue, the entire China Pavilion complex, including
exhibition areas of individual Chinese provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, will
showcase Chinese people’s endeavors, achievements, and solutions to future challenges of the
country’s urbanization drive.
